Course Guidelines:
Cancellation
There is a 48 hour cancellation policy. All cancellations and changes, including a reduction in the number of players or changing the date of the tee time, must be made more than 48 hours before the scheduled tee time. Fees for golfers who do not show for their tee time or cancel within the 48 hours will be charged the full rate using the credit card or PayPal account provided when making the reservation.
Weather/Rainchecks
Newport National will not cancel tee times within 48 hours of the tee time because of forecasted weather. On the day of the tee time, course management will decide if the course is playable or will close. If the course closes, all reservations will be cancelled with no charges. If a round has begun, a raincheck will be issued equivalent to the remaining holes that is valid for 30 days.
Food/Beverage
Food and drinks purchased from the Grille or Beverage Cart may be consumed on the course. Outside food and beverages are not permitted. Golfers who violate this policy will be asked to leave.
Course Attire
Newport National asks that proper attire be worn on the golf course.
Men are required to wear shirts with collars and sleeves with slacks or Bermuda length shorts. All hats must be facing forward.
Women are permitted to wear dresses, slacks, skirts, skorts or Bermuda length shorts and blouses.
Please note that denim, t-shirts, tank tops, cargo shorts/pants, cutoffs and shoes with metal spikes are not appropriate.
Children
Children under the age of 12 are not allowed on the course.
Other
No ride alongs or spectators are permitted on the course.
Each golfer must have a set of clubs on the cart.
Each golfer must clear the course 30 minutes before sunset.
